East Dunbartonshire Association for Mental Health

East Dunbartonshire Association for Mental Health (EDAMH) offers emotional, practical and social support to those experiencing mental ill health in East Dunbartonshire.

People affected by mental ill health are supported through one-to-one and group support, helping them improve their mental health and wellbeing. This is achieved through recovery plans focused on reducing isolation, restoring confidence, motivation and self-esteem, and building emotional resilience. We use a strengths-based approach to support individuals in pursuing recovery shaped by their hopes and needs. This often involves restoring meaningful structure to daily life, including improved emotional, social and vocational activity.

Services include:

Individual support
Group support
Violence Against Women Recovery Project

Referrals can be made in person, by letter or by telephone. We operate an open referral system, so while you can be referred by another person or service, you can also refer yourself directly.
